I was doing laundry, before I delved into life’s mystery.

Standing on the roof,

Living here after our first move,

Men are always looking for proof.

In this mid-autumn cosy weather,

I meditate on life’s happening further.

Sea breeze kissing my cheeks,

Night wind paddling in streaks;

Peering over the dark sea,

Together are the two hearts;

I pray that our life may never fall apart.

Waking in the morning,

Waiting for the evening,

Resuming himself during the commuting;

Raving across the month start, craving for the month end,

I wish to stay responsible till the end.

The family is seeing their late mother off;

Beside the ferry pier hawking are the folk;

At the brutal reality people mock;

On Monday evening, they return the laughter and yelling they borrow;

But I never stray to replace my dreams with sorrow.

While I was still wandering around life’s mystery;

“Beep…beep…beep…” that I’ve got to do another laundry.
